I've been listing in the Vintage Shop.

All girlie stuff today!

Two very nice pink and white old vintage hankies. Just $9 for both.

I love cake stands and as one of my favorite auctioneers used to say "She's a beauty!". $30

Silver plate is another of my faves and I sometimes bid on it in lots. Boy was I thrilled when I found this in a lot I was thinking I got carried away on! I love its ornate raised grape edge! $36

Cranberry glass is another thing that's pretty popular at the auctions I attend. This sweet little pitcher was a great catch! $35

If you've got a minute stop by and take a look!

Just Listed ~ Special Order

Oh, Josie! Your teapot is ready! Lol, I just listed this special order in my handmade shop, CottonridgeEmporium. Josie saw this teapot in my sold items and asked that I paint one just for her. I sure do hope she likes it 'cause I had fun painting it!

If you see something in my sold items just drop me a note and I'll be happy to do my best to recreate it just for you.

New to the shop and transferring my domain name.

Well I'm back. Did you miss me? Several days ago I decided to not renew my .com domain name with my provider and to look for a cheaper alternative. Found one right away and started the transfer. Then my .com disappeared for 3 days.  I guess it went pretty smooth considering. I'm just glad it was only 3 days. Anyhow, I'm back now and at a cheaper rate!

So here's what's new at Cottonridge Vintage:

This cute little canvas bag is from WW II. It's stamped "US Optical Gas Mask M1" on the front.

I'm not sure what the symbol represents.

There are the neatest black metal snaps that close it securely.

On the inside of the flap it's stamped "M5 E.A. Lot 63".

It has a canvas shoulder strap that can be adjusted with metal hardware.

You can see from the photos it has a few small age holes. They look like they are burns from sparks to me. There are also some places where someone wrote on it in ink. They're pretty faded now but are still visible (enlarge the photos to see them).

$35.

Baby Doll, a Cloche and a Giveaway.

I listed two new things in the vintage shop today. A cloche and pedestal that I assembled from vintage items. It think it's petite and charming.

Doesn't it look cute with this little bird figurine in it?

Sorry, the bird's not included, but I'm sure you have some ideas.

And look at this sweet American Character Baby Doll.

I only got her because the other lady who always fights me for the sweet little dolls was late to the auction! I guess it pays to be on time. Lol, isn't that terrible of me!

Both are available in my shop

But wait, don't go yet!
I'm also having a giveaway on my facebook page for my artfire shop, Sweet Southern Vintage. You can win a set of these cute little bottlebrush trees
