Almost every Friday night I attend a local auction. My Mom and I have reserved seats, lol. Last night there was an unusually large crowd, but I was lucky enough to bring home this haul...
I love the old turquoise step stool. Its wonderfully distressed and is showing some of the red paint that was its original color in the back. The little footstool is a gem, too.
See the little dog, he's a keeper. I know he's a likeness of Spuds McKensie (sp?), but to me he looks very much like my little granddog, Monkey. He's even the same size! And the lovely cake stand is a birthday gift for my dear Aunt. (Shhh! Don't tell her.) All the other pieces are going in my shop.
Including some lovely old English china and some blue onion.
And three matching silver plate pieces and an old horsehair basket that I'm going to fill with linens and lace.
If you're interested in purchasing any of these pieces before they're listed just send me an email at CottonridgeVintage@live.com.
Thanks for visiting! Y'all come back soon! (how corny right?)
